About the Position: Department: Training / Service Support Reports to: Training and Service Support Manager Supervises: N/A Purpose: Develop and instruct Gooseneck Specialized Advanced Technical Training (SATT) and Certified Dealer Instructor Program (CDIP) training programs.
Responsibilities: Instruct existing and develop new SATT courses as needed.
Maintain CDIP courses offered from John Deere.
Obtain and maintain CDIP Certification with John Deere.
Build curriculum from new training requests for the organization.
Assist new employee onboarding as needed.
Attends CDIP update meetings with John Deere.
Works with the Gooseneck Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) group to help with technician assistance when not training or developing courses.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1-3 years’ experience in developing curriculum and instructing technical courses (preferred).
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
Ability to organize course calendars and student class rosters.
Excellent understanding of the different student learning styles and how to instruct/develop to each of those styles.
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
High level of knowledge of John Deere equipment.
