The rank is Assistant Professor for applicants who possess a Ph.

in Counselor Education from a CACREP program.
Advanced ABD candidates will be considered, but the rank is Instructor until the degree is completed.
Candidates will be expected to teach graduate courses in Counseling including Theories, Statistics, and Human Development, as well as teach across the undergraduate general studies curriculum.
Excellent teaching and an active program of scholarly activity and community service are expected.
Academic experiences with diverse populations are desired.
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Teaching load is three courses (12 credits) per semester, including contributions to the undergraduate General Studies curriculum when the graduate schedule allows.
Accreditation activities, curriculum development and assessment, and student advisement, as negotiated under the collective bargaining agreement.
Advise graduate and some undergraduate students.
Contribute to service to the Counseling program as well as the University.
Have a strong record of research to continue and participate in conducting research with graduate students.
Evening teaching availability at the Hammonton instructional site.
Required Qualifications Advanced ABD or PhD in CACREP accredited Counselor Education Program.
ABD candidates will be hired as an Instructor until the degree is completed.
Teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate student teaching experience.
Familiarity with CACREP accreditation requirements and completing accreditation reviews.
Demonstrated clinical experience and/or license to practice.
