*Job Overview:*
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging lessons in mathematics to students.
You will facilitate learning, foster critical thinking skills, and provide support to students to help them achieve academic success in mathematics.
*Responsibilities:*
* *Curriculum Development:* Design and develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards and objectives.
* *Instruction Delivery: *Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
* *Student Assessment:* Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
* *Individualized Support:* Identify individual student needs and provide additional support, tutoring, or enrichment activities as necessary.
* *Classroom Management:* Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, with clear expectations for behavior and academic performance.
* *Technology Integration:* Utilize technology tools and resources effectively to enhance instruction and student engagement in mathematics.
* *Collaboration:* Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student learning and academic success.
* *Professional Development:* Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in mathematics education.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
* Teaching certification/licensure in mathematics (or eligibility for certification/licensure)
* Strong content knowledge and expertise in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and other relevant areas
* Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level (middle school or high school)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Proficiency in educational technology tools and resources for mathematics instruction
* Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth in the field of mathematics education.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.
