*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum tailored to the needs and skill levels of students.
* Teach music theory, technique, and performance skills to individuals and groups.
* Plan and conduct engaging music lessons that incorporate a variety of instructional methodologies, including hands-on activities, group projects, and technology-based learning.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their musical development.
* Prepare students for performances, recitals, competitions, and examinations as appropriate.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical interests and abilities.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members to promote the importance of music education and support student involvement in extracurricular music activities.
* Stay informed about current trends, methodologies, and resources in music education through professional development opportunities and networking with peers.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Certification in Music Education or relevant teaching credentials.
* Experience directing ensembles, such as bands, orchestras, choirs, or chamber groups.
* Familiarity with music technology and software for composition, recording, and production.
* Previous experience organizing and coordinating music events, festivals, or performances.
* Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth in the field of music education.
