Assistant Track & Field Coach Position Description & Details · Practice oPractice preparation oOn coach coaching · Compliance oAdhere to all NCAA Rules and Regulations · Player personnel oVolunteer hours/opportunities oWork opportunities – on and off campus oAcademics (tracking schedules, grade checks, missed class forms) · Recruiting oOn campus Recruiting: Visits, calls, film oOff campus Local Recruiting oPhone calls and relationship building with players and coaches · Manage graduate assistants: Must be a great communicator! · Other Duties as Assigned Additional Information Staff members have a duty to cooperate with and furnish the NCAA, the conference or institution with truthful and complete information concerning involvement in or knowledge of rules violations.
A coach or staff member may be suspended or terminated if found to be involved in deliberate and/or serious violations of NCAA regulations.
Rules education, satisfactory rules knowledge and documenting compliance activities are mandatory and athletics personnel will be evaluated on their performance.
