Teacher Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities - Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance - Help create a safe and nurturing environment for students - Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies - Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs - Support students during field trips, outdoor activities, and other school events - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance Requirements: - Previous experience working with students, such as nannying, caregiving, or in a childcare setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Familiarity with first aid procedures and infant care techniques - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students on an individual level - Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom dynamics and student needs Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
