*Job Summary: * As an Operations Technician, you will play a pivotal role in assisting field efforts while specializing in Wastewater and/or Potable Water System operations to accommodate customer's needs and assisting Peak Water employees by helping with system operations and repairs, troubleshooting issues, evaluating and understanding their needs, and formulating a plan to ensure they are met.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * ● System Operations: Independently review permits to fully understand regulatory requirements for sampling, reporting, renewals, etc.
while maintaining and executing a schedule for system operations such as independently collecting samples and completing monitoring reports.
● Regulatory Requirements: Submit necessary reports to the state’s governing agency of Water and Wastewater.
Communicate with regulators, owners, engineers, and others using clear, precise writing and discussions ● Repair and Maintenance: Assist Lead Technicians in performing repairs, overhauls, and maintenance tasks on various types of equipment and associated components.
● Company Equipment: Maintain company equipment in proper operating condition by following operating instructions; maintaining supplies; and performing preventive maintenance.
Maintain shop and trucks in an organized, clean, professional fashion ● Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working on rotating equipment, wastewater treatment and water systems, and all of the associated equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed on every job site, every day.

com ● Teamwork: Support Lead Service Techs and other operators in ensuring all documentation is completed, collected, and submitted to appropriate parties in a timely fashion on systems that you are not assigned to directly.
● Quality Assurance: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks meet industry standards and specifications, striving for excellence in every aspect of the job.
● Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and team members to exchange knowledge, best practices, and insights to improve overall team performance.
● Customer Relations: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, providing status updates on repairs, and offering recommendations for equipment and system optimization and efficiency.
● Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and technologies related to rotating equipment and system maintenance, actively seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

*Qualifications: * ● High school diploma or equivalent required.
● Must be able to use general business software (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Excel, Adobe Acrobat) and hardware (smartphone/tablet, notebook computer, scanner, etc.
).
● Small to Medium water and sewer utility systems knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and equipment maintenance experience *required *.
● Required to have a Wastewater C-1 (preferred), or a Potable Water System 4AB license ● Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and unrestricted driver’s license w/ acceptable MVR *is required *.

*Work Schedule and Benefits: * ● The position will be based out of Bozeman/Belgrade, MT.
● This is a full-time hourly wage position.
Regular performance reviews will be provided and strong performance will result in pay increases.
