ChampionX has an immediate need for a Gas Lift Service Technician – PCS Ferguson located in Watford City, ND.

Review quotes, installation and repair plans to ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs and the parts and process required to address the need.
As needed, explain installation, service or repair plans, and invoices to customers; discuss cost or time overruns with team leader or manager.
Execute installations, repair, or service plans and documents results.
Create product failure analysis reports.
Develop good working relationship with customers through professional communication.
Know and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Drive and contribute to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
Maintain confidentiality of all matters.
Other duties as required.
Operate, recommend and maintain packer and gas lift products and services to meet customer need.
This includes, but is not limited to, operating various styles of packers, including assembling, troubleshooting, and releasing of packers.
Comprehend a tubing tally and properly fills out installation reports for our customers.
Execute tubing set and wireline set packers to company expectations.
Perform initial completions, remedial, or downhole maintenance operations from an elevated position.
Understand and use various completion tools complementing the packer product line.
Coordinate assignments or projects to achieve maximum utilization of clients’ drilling and oil recovery efforts.
Work independently at remote customer locations.
Troubleshoot and make recommendations for well flow enhancement.
Pre-Employment Requirements: Drug and alcohol test Criminal background check Education verification MVR Minimum Qualifications: Two year technical degree and/or equivalent education or experience.
Valid driver's license in state of residence required.
Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
Four or more years of relevant experience.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Employee is required to regularly walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities.
Work may include visits to customer office or field locations.
Work may require visits to customer field locations in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
