We are seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide therapeutic patient and family-centered care for children and adolescents in a psychiatric residential treatment facility.
The children and adolescents who come to Dakota Family Services have complex mental and behavioral health issues, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, autism, bipolar disorder, and trauma.

Starting Wage: $31/hour+ DOE Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Flexible work schedule, which requires working one evening shift (1-9 p.
m.
) each week and on-call one weekend per month.
Responsibilities: The successful applicant will: Connect with, support, and educate children and adolescents, ages 10-18.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
Assess, treat, and triage medical and psychiatric emergencies in a timely and appropriate manner.
Complete mental and physical health assessments of youth.
Act as a liaison between the Ranch treatment team and outside hospitals, clinics, and physicians.
Administer medication, obtain refills, and monitor medication administration procedures to ensure medications are administered in a safe and effective manner.
Provide evidence-based services to help residents and their families meet their treatment goals.
Provide integrated services by communicating and documenting services, care, and treatment.
Document medical information accurately and timely according to licensing and accreditation standards.
Educate youth about issues of general health, medications, growth and development, hygiene, infection, and nutrition.
Qualifications: The successful applicant must: Hold a current and valid North Dakota Registered Nurse license.
Be at least 21 years old.
Pass a thorough background check, including criminal, abuse, and motor vehicle.
Have a current driver's license and insurable driving record.
Demonstrate good communication and listening skills.
