We are looking for _*reliable*_, _*hard-working*_ individuals to join our team in Minot.
The _*Weekend / On-Call*_ person will fill in for open shifts throughout the week and be scheduled at least (3) weekends out of a (4) weekend month.
This person must be comfortable seeing _*any *_client and doing _*any *_shift, including overnights.
You will have one consistent day off during the weeks you are working the weekend (i.
e.
, every Thursday off unless you're not working the upcoming weekend).
This person will know their schedule a day or two ahead of time, so _*flexibility *_and the _*ability to adapt *_to a new schedule are really important.
Since your schedule will be so unpredictable, we're offering this position on a _*salary*_ basis, meaning you will have a _*steady and stable paycheck*_ twice per month.
Your paycheck will remain the same whether you work 25 hours one week and 45 hours the next.
A raise will be discussed after your first 90 days.
You will be eligible for health, vision, and dental _*insurance *_after 60 days as well as_*401(k) *_with company match up to 4%.

Our two week _*training program*_ consists of roughly 20 hours online at the office and 20-30 hours of in person training with our nurse(s) and Lead Caregivers with our Clients.
Our training includes studying for the _*Medication Administration*_ online test and in person demonstration.
(Everyone must do the Medication tests, even if they have their MA)
*Responsibilities:*
- Provide direct care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in patient condition to the appropriate person
- Document any events and changes throughout your shift, both online and on paper
- Conduct and receive a thorough report during shift change with other Caregivers
- Report to the Caregiver Coordinator and Client Service Manager(s) regularly throughout the week on what's happening with the Clients
*Experience:*
- Previous experience in home care or a similar caregiving role is preferred
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in a healthcare setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
*Skills:*
- Proficient in medication administration and following proper protocols
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
