St.
Luke’s Medical Center is seeking applicants for a full- or part-time Registered Nurse.
Responsible for unit-specific shift operations with the goal of having the shift function at optimum performance.
Responsible for the assignment of patient care to ensure appropriate care based on patient need and staff skill/competence.
Supervises nursing staff and patient care during scheduled shifts.
Assists with staff scheduling.
Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree or current enrollment in a program.
• Current state of ND Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
However, if not current, must acquire certification during the first year of employment.
• Successful completion of arrhythmia course.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must communicate positively and effectively with nursing staff showing strong leadership and support to the goals, objectives, and strategic plans, as defined by Administration
