*Automotive Technician Job Requirements:*
* Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning.
With Ford vehicles it requires following Ford’s diagnostic and repair recommendations
* Perform inspection of customers’ vehicles and give necessary repair recommendations to service advisors
* Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be quick to learn
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and work effectively with the service advisors
* Valid driver's license
*Automotive Technician Skills and Qualifications:*
* *dealership technician / mechanic experience (minimum of 3 years)*
* Need to identify client's concerns quickly
* Able to learn new automotive technology; automotive repair & service procedures & specifications
* Strong knowledge base of light trucks and medium duty trucks
* Diesel Engine knowledge helpful and compensated
* Valid Driver’s License
