POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking RN or Paramedic to fill the AHA Training Center Coordinator, who will be responsible for all aspects of the American Heart Association Training Center.
Serving as the primary contact between the Training Center (TC) and the American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care (AHA ECC) programs, they will provide a safe environment and quality educational experience for students throughout Trinity Health, the community and the region.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
Current North Dakota RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of the North Dakota
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certified paramedic.
North Dakota Paramedic registration submitted to North Dakota Department of Health Division of Emergency Medical Systems (DEMS) within 30 days of hire.
AHA Instructor certification for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) ASLS within 90 days.
Educational Requirements
Minimum of an associate degree but bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
Two 2 years’ experience in related healthcare field
Knowledgeable about methods of instruction, testing, and evaluation of
students.

Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Knowledge of current trends, developments, and concepts in Emergency
