My name is Adam and I'm a student of the late Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.
I recently been inspired to start a monthly Study & Practice group here in Portland for all instruments and voices (key of C).
We'd start with Scale Exercises before moving into Chalan and Compositions from the First Year's Study book.

Our current harmony singer is stepping down and we need that special someone to fill her shoes.
We are a singer/songwriter group with a folk-rock, Americana sound.
We play gigs about once a month and currently have gigs scheduled.
We have over two hours of original songs and a handful of covers.
Instrumentation is acoustic guitar/ lead vocals, fiddle, electric bass and drum kit.
