Position ummary: The driver position is responsible for delivering petroleum products (fuel, oil, methanol and/or Propane) to Benz Oil customers (local and oilfield) as ordered and adhering to all safety regulations in the hauling, loading and delivery processes.
Position Type: Full Time
Starting Wage: $30/ hour DOE
Reports to: Department Manager and/or Dispatch Supervisor

Hours/Work Life Balance/Scheduel Options:
20 days on and 8 days off or 10 days on and 4 days off
10 hour days (7:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:
Pre-Trip Inspections
Drive tractor-trailer truck, straight truck, boom truck and/or bobcat
Complete paperwork that is neat and legible and submit it in a timely manner (Invoices, JSA’s, BOL’s, etc.
)
Collect payments
Work as a team member and respect co-workers
Adhere so all safety regulations
Take/follow direction from Dispatch Supervisor
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Deliver and set fuel / propane tanks and cubes
Load, unload, stack or wrap containers, materials, or products
Load truck
Fill propane cylinders as needed for customers
Work in Warehouse as needed
Examine vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed
Transport petroleum products
Verify the products being delivered match the orders
Report all vehicle maintenance and repairs issues to shop manager
Service vehicle with water, fuel, or oil
Maintain driver log according to I.

Skills & Knowledge:
Use basic math skills
Read maps & use geographic positioning system (GPS)

Lift or move objects up to 75 pounds
Use various hand tools
Operate a cell phone
Climb truck ladders
Drive truck with capacity greater than 3 tons
Operate cleaning equipment
Use vehicle repair tools or safety equipment
Use truck-mounted hydraulic lifts or other accessories
Qualifications: Class A or B License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
