What you will do:
Job Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Courier position include but may not be limited to ensuring the safe and timely transportation of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, laundry, and other routine and special healthcare related errands, as well as transporting ambulatory patients.
The Courier is also responsible for the timely handling of incoming and outgoing mail (and packages) as well as sorting and distributing the mail daily.
The Courier must be comfortable operating a variety of motor vehicles; and due to the nature of the position, they must be able and willing to drive in inclement weather and adverse road conditions.
While the Courier will routinely travel between the main campus and offsite clinics, they may be occasionally required to drive to the extreme eastern portion of North Dakota.
They may also shuttle vehicles between the main campus and area airports.
Responsibilities:
Taking pride in protecting the items picked up and delivered.
Pick up and drop off medical supplies, lab, and other items timely.
May transport ambulatory patients.
Laundry pick-up and delivery to Wellness Center
Laundry pick-up and delivery to Women’s Clinic
Daily mail run(s) and distribution
May be required to take vehicles for repair and routine maintenance.
What you will need:
High school graduate or equivalent
Clean Driving Record
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal skills
