*QUALIFICATIONS* Essential: * Ability to: * Must operate hotel vehicles in a safe manner at all times and adhering to motor vehicle laws.

*PHYSICAL ABILITIES* * Exert physical effort in transporting fifty pounds as well as guest luggage.
* Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
* Reach three feet.
* Remain in stationary position for fifteen minutes throughout work shift.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* * Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
* Responsible for the effective, efficient and safe *transportation*, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the *airport* terminal or other assigned destinations.
Shuttle driver must have: * good customer service skills.
They must be polite and professional, and make sure passengers are satisfied with their ride.
* Maintain phone communication with arriving arrivals and to accommodate delayed flight arrivals.
* Patience is necessary when dealing with heavy traffic and rude riders and dependability ensures that drivers maintain their schedules.
* Drivers must have the stamina to sit for several hours at a time, and the hand-eye coordination to operate their vehicles while watching their surroundings.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
* The safety of shuttle passengers is the prime responsibility of the driver.
* At the beginning and end of their shift, inspect the vehicle to ensure that it is functioning correctly and complete checklist.
* Driver must follow all traffic laws and posted speed limits, even at the expense of arriving late to their destinations.
If they encounter any unsafe conditions or road hazards, they report the problems to the manager on duty.
* If their vehicle develops mechanical difficulties, they document the problems and communicate needed repairs to manager on duty.
* They must ensure that passengers and luggage are safely loaded and unloaded from their buses.
* Shuttle drivers be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes, undergo a background investigation and subject to passing a random drug testing.
* Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day.
* Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
* Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
* Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
* Ensure security of any assigned keys and beeper.
* Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments.
Check with Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift.
* Review assigned area and complete general removal of any trash or debris.
* Stock cleaning carts with designated supplies and equipment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas.
* Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipment.
* Ensure that nothing is stored in stairwells.
* Transport any food and beverage trays/items in public areas to kitchen.
* Check under furniture for debris and remove if present; reposition furniture to correct floor plan.
* Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips, stains, and report damages to Supervisor.
Dust and polish all woodwork.
* Remove all dust, debris, and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions.
* Dust pictures, frames, mirrors, fire extinguisher boxes, exit signs, and air vents.
* Clean all lamps light fixtures, and light switches; check for proper working condition.
* Remove dust, spots and smears from windows, frames, and ledges; wash windows as assigned.
* Remove dust, grease, and smears from house/public phones and reposition properly.
Replace soiled/damaged phone books.
* Remove dust on drapes weekly and realign to correct position daily.

Inspect condition of planters and plants; remove debris, polish planters.
* Remove dust, dirt, marks, and fingerprints from doors and door frames.
* Remove stains, scuff marks, and dust from baseboards, ledges, and corners.
* Empty trash containers and ash urns in public areas.
* Remove trash, debris, and cobwebs from balconies/patios.
* Empty vacuum cleaner bags, replace bag, and clean machine.
* Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up, and hair from public and employee bathroom mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets/urinals, shower walls, shower curtains, and floors.
* Replace facial and toilet tissues, paper hand towels, and soaps in correct amount and location.
* Stock paper and soap dispensers in public bathrooms.
* Inspect and clean front entrance daily.
* Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor.
* Turn over any lost and found items to the Supervisor.
* Ensure security of hotel property and lock exterior entrances between 11 pm and 4 am.
*SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS* * Receive morning clean laundry deliveries and verify incoming laundry weights.
* Assist with laundry folding and delivery to floor closets.
* Assist Floor Attendants as assigned.
* Remove soiled linen from guest room floor and deliver to outgoing pickup area.
* Remove trash to dumpster.
* Stock Housekeeping department supplies.
* Remove grease build-up on front entrance driveways as scheduled.
* Ensure that all floor care equipment undergoes scheduled preventative maintenance.
