An Office Assistant III in our Williston District is the supportive force and an integral team member keeping office operations organized and efficient.
You will be the first contact for anyone calling or visiting the Williston District office.
You will provide the district employees with support of financial transactions, filing, records management, and other office management duties.
The ideal person for this position will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail.
They will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers.
The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.
Primary duties associated with this position include:
Employee and Public Relations.
Administer the State Fleet Motor Pool.
Schedule meetings, scan, and file Construction Records.
Prepare receipts for cash sales, bank deposits, and voucher payments.
Maintain Stockpile Materials Inventory.
Administer District Adopt a Highway Program.
Process Permits (Utility, Right to Enter, Road Closures).
Records Coordinator.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or GED.
You will need one year experience in office support or customer service or an associate degree in a related field.
Proficiency in keyboarding, personal computer, grammar and spelling skills are required.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, reference, and background checks.
