*Summary*
The Administrative Assistant is a member of the accounting team assisting Triangle Electric's billing and Accounts Payable department.
The person responsible for this position is supervised by the CFO, for all companies operated by Triangle Electric holdings.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following, other duties may be assigned.
*Supporting administrative processes and overall profitability of operations.
*
Working in the main office during regular business hours 8AM to 5PM with possible overtime.
Timely obtaining and uploading invoices into the AP module of Spectrum with minimal errors.
Identifying errors and omissions causing incorrect or incomplete documentation of job costs.
Communicating professionally with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers and other accounting staff to bring resolution to issues as they arise.
*AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY*
Understanding the Separation of Duties principles of GAAP accounting.
Interpreting and understanding the effect of AP on the GL and profitability.
Ensuring any invoices entered have adequate documentation, images entered along with entries, as well as billing and time-keeping activities
Practicing good communication skills and motivating co-workers to create a positive and productive environment.

Adapting to a changing business environment and market while anticipating problems which inevitably arise.
Familiarizing and utilizing professional communication methods while interacting with foremen and customers.

This position requires the physical ability to lift 0-20 pounds frequently.
The office is a non-smoking environment.
Service animals are not permitted due to safety.
*KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS *- HS Diploma or GED.
Basic business knowledge accompanied with accounting coursework contributes to the incumbent's success in this position.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT *- The work environment characteristics are representative of those experienced by an administrative assistant in an indoor setting with a subdivided cubicle arrangement.
The office is equipped with a small kitchen and adjoins a small conference room.
The campus has door entry swipe cards and security cameras.
Occasionally, the environment is impacted by the presence of minor fabrication noises and smells.
The office uses a filtered HVAC system with smart thermostat.
